Detailed scope review (Serbian version)
- performs tasks of establishing and maintaining hydrological stations network for monitoring of surface water and underground water of first (freatic) groundwater status;
- performs hydrometric measurements and observations of quantitative characteristics of surface water and underground water status as well as taking, preparing and delivering sampes for the purpose of monitoring of surface and groundwater quality;
- performs processing, archiving and storing data about surface water and groundwater status;
- analyses and determines surface water and ground water status;
- establishes, maintains and upgrades hydrological information system for data collecting and processing in real time for the purpose of flood defence, navigation and management of water management and hydro-power systems;
- prepares and delivers hydrological information, forecasts and warnings for the purpose of flood defence, navigation and international cooperation;
- publishes processed data in the form of year book of surface water and ground water;
- gives expert opinion in the procedure of acquiring water managament conditions for objects that influence water or water influences them;
- performs expert services.
